Environmental Policy Statement
This statement relates to operations at the following location, and for all on-site projects:

S & K Brickwork Ltd are committed to protecting the environment and will continually strive to attain a satisfactory balance between its environmental, social and economic responsibilities.
To achieve this, we will proactively:
- Protect the environment by promoting awareness of environmental issues pertaining to the production of goods and distribution of products. This includes, where practical, the use of environmental materials, the recycling of products used by S & K Brickwork Ltd and other undesirable materials
- Comply with all applicable environmental legislation and Approved Codes of Practice (ACOPs)
- Strive to prevent pollution and continually improve our environmental performance against all significant aspect and impacts
- Produce and make publicly available our Environmental Policy
- Provide information, instruction, training and supervision to all employees who may impact the environment
- Ensure that all environmental risks that we are unable to deal with ourselves, are reported verbally and in writing to the relevant authorities
S & K Brickwork Limited is committed to the protection and enhancement of the environment, always seeking to minimise the environmental impacts on its past, present and future activities. The Company believes that everyone is responsible for good environmental performance and the Company incorporates environmental considerations into all its business activities.
The following principles provide the framework to help the Company set goals and promote continual improvement in our environmental performance:
- We believe that everyone employed by the Company is responsible for good environmental performance
- Stephen Daley, as Director, has overall responsibility for protecting the environment by setting objectives for the Company’s operations and ensuring that environmental matters are integral to the way in which the Company is managed
- Stephen Daley, as Director, will provide visible leadership that promotes good environmental performance and commits resources to achieving the Company’s objectives
- The Company recognises that all members of staff and employees need to behave in a manner that protects the environment. To this end, all employees will receive information, instruction and training to ensure they understand the need to protect the environment and observe the obligations placed upon them by the Company to achieve that goal.
The Company is committed to maintaining the highest standards of environmental performance. To meet our commitments, we will:
- Meet and, where appropriate, exceed the requirements of environmental legislation
- Prevent pollution including the release of oil and hazardous waste wherever possible, but if incidents occur we will respond effectively to minimise the impact on human health and the environment
- Minimise and properly manage the waste we generate and reuse, or recycle waste materials whenever economically feasible
- Help to protect the environment for future generations through our contribution to minimising climate change
- Ensure that our employees have skills, knowledge and resources to contribute to our environmental commitments
The Company will promote continual improvements in environmental performance by:
- Identifying and managing risks associated with our activities
- Deliver any improvements through effective environmental management systems
- Monitor our environmental performance
- Audit the effectiveness of our management system
- Report our performance to our employee and our clients
